Notate adds writing help right where you type, so you don't have to leave the editor. It comes with the AI plan, or on the Sync plan with [your own Anthropic key](https://notate.md/docs/ai/bring-your-own-keys/).

## Completions

As you write, Notate can suggest how to continue with inline ghost text. Accept a suggestion to keep going, or ignore it and keep typing.

## Select and rewrite

Highlight some text and choose an action: rewrite it, make it more concise, fix grammar, expand it, or summarize it. The result is dropped right back into your note.

## Summaries and tags

Notate can generate a short summary for a note, and suggest relevant tags based on its content, which you can accept or dismiss individually.

Prefer to keep these off? Every AI feature has a toggle in **Settings**.
