# Pause sync on a device

Sometimes you want one device to stop syncing for a while without touching the rest of your setup.

## Pause on this device

In **Settings**, use **Pause Sync On This Device**. Your edits still save locally, and your other devices keep syncing normally.

## Turn it back on

Turn sync back on when you want this device to catch up. The setting is per device, so pausing one device leaves the others unchanged.
