Notate keeps Markdown tables tidy so they stay readable in your file and easy to work with.

## Write a table

Write a standard Markdown table with pipes and dashes, the same syntax GitHub uses. As you move your cursor off a table, Notate auto-formats the column spacing so the source stays neatly aligned.

## Edit rendered tables

In **Live** and **Preview** modes, tables render as real tables. Click a rendered table to edit its cells in place, then move on and Notate tidies the spacing again.
