Notate adds an assistant that works over your own notes. It comes with the AI plan, or on the Sync plan with your own Anthropic key.
Chat with your notes
Ask a question in plain language and the assistant answers from your workspace, using semantic search to find the relevant notes. Answers include cited sources, links to the notes it drew from, so you can verify every claim.
Commands
Type / in the assistant to pull up a command catalog: create a note, move or rename one, add tags, build a folder, or generate a summary, all without leaving the chat. Actions that change your notes ask for confirmation first.
Your notes stay yours
The assistant reads and edits the same plain markdown files you already own. Nothing about your notes’ format changes.
