Recover a deleted note
Deleting a note in Notate is reversible, and so is most of what you type.
Restore from Trash
Deleted notes and folders go to Trash first. Open Trash, find the item, and restore it to bring it back where it was. On the Sync plan, Trash is shared across your devices, so you can recover from any of them.
Roll back an edit
If you didn’t delete the note but want an earlier version of it, open the note’s version history, compare versions, and restore the one you want.
A note on retention
Trash is swept on a retention schedule, so recover items you care about before that window passes. You can adjust the retention period in Settings.
